There has been some debate lately in our area about tap water versus bottled water.
Our tap water
is very delicious, and
if I am understanding our SFPUC rate sheet correctly,
our tap water
costs
about
26 cents per 100 gallons.
Also, I learned from the SFPUC website that they use chloramine rather than chlorine for disinfectant. This is not a bad thing, but it does mean that we cannot just let our water sit out before putting our goldfish, MG, in it. We have to put in little drops of tap water conditioner because it will not just dissipate into the air like chlorine.
