I am going through some of the ideas and images I gathered while in New York. I went to the Stationery Show, and I looked and looked at things around the city, and I had a wonderful visit with my dear friends Debra and Sarah.
I looked through the window at one of my favorite shops. It is on Ludlow, and this woman (Mary Adams) makes such beautiful dresses and skirts. I am inspired by her creations and her shop.
I am thinking about the spectrum with one end being successful enough to make a living, while maintaining a unique style; and the other being growth to the point of having “more” (financial) success, but losing some of what is special and off-beat. Is it possible to be unique/special and big?
