The Kemper Museum has this piece by Paula Rego up right now:

I am very happy to see it in person.  The museum was quiet, and I was able to stare at this up close.  The colors are wonderful.  Especially the skin, which has lots of beautiful greens in it.

If you were to ask me what is my favorite color, it is unlikely that I would answer “yellow.”
I don’t know why this is, as I think of it as very cheerful and it is sort of the color of one of my daughter’s hair.     However, I would never intentionally seek out yellow [...]

I was out to lunch with one of my children (which was heavenly), and when I paused at the counter to pick up our order, look what greeted me:

There certainly are signs everywhere.       Don’t forget to see them.
PS.  On further reflection, I see that not only is it a smiley-face, but a smiley-face [...]

I should like to sit down on the window sill next to this scrub brush, rest my arm around its waist, and let the sun warm my hair.
